LOL Doug, the story is that Okinawan policeman carried sai. And that throwing them was a way to stop a suspect. Most throws were aimed at the lower part of the leg and the foot. Not to pin the foot but to capture the ankle between the times. Or to pin a pant leg to the ground.

I have noticed that written descriptions of empty handed forms can be found on the internet. But there are very few written descriptions of weapons forms.

 

Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

There are also the tonfas and kamas :nod:

Well, we are the only school in the ITF that's allowed to use weapons, so we don't know much. Wait, check that, the other schools were finally allowed weapons we were just the forerunners. So I know

and my own kama form I made up for the talent show coming up
