dtstiachi
Didn't Michaelangelo use a yoyo in one of the ninja turtle movies to beat up on the foot? "The journey of a 1,000 miles starts with but a single step."
Hokori
A yoyo would be a great weapon, they were banned at my school when they were in fashion. Hokori
dtstiachi
They were banned at my school as well (that has been a few years ago). I remember when EVERYONE had to have a yo yo and people would play with them in class and get them confiscated. "The journey of a 1,000 miles starts with but a single step." scottnshelly
It makes sense though, next time you have one, play around with it. you can sling it very powerfully. I think it uses the same logic as the chain whip, but on a smaller scale. You can throw it, wrap a limb or neck, sling it, walk the dog, and many other effective attacks. And, yes one of the ninja turtles did use it in one of the movies. i think they actually did a little research for that movie - or maybe it was coincidence? Taku-Shimazu
It is also a little known fact that the slinky was in fact a weapon designed to fend off intruders invading a castle. They would walk down the stairs, alone or in pairs, and make a slinkity sound. Quite troublesome for the those not having the advantage of the high ground. And you say I have trouble deciding between fantasty and reality! The cool summer breeze passes me by. I saw an advert the other day on TV, with light up ones, glow in the dark and all kinds of special features!I guess I am to old though, maybe I was not ment to experience the joy of yo-yo's, Fate. Any other wierd weapons? How about a skipping rope? Were hopscotch grids designed to confuse attackers trying to find castles?Gameboys were used in the war to track enemy communications? Yes, because there is a difference between tongue-in-cheek humor and outlandish claims.
