Where should you hit?

Don't hit them in the chest or in the groin- It HURTS! I'm a girl and a whole bunch of boys do that to me when they spar. If you do want to hit those areas, hit them softly.

"Soft" hits in those areas could open up a whole other set of problems...

Didn't mean to put your response down or anything. Potential liability for guys touching those areas was discussed in another thread not long ago. If you brush the wrong woman's chest, could be hello lawsuit

I almost got in a lot of trouble a while ago, we were doing take-downs. We were to grab the "lapel" area of the gi, and when I did (much too fast) my fingers got her bra strap. As I threw her to the tatami, we both heard it snap.

I just posted this to another thread, but I'll post it here again.

At my dojo, sparring class is a separate event from the rest of school. You walked in that night knowing that you were going to get hit. If it is a matter of courtesy, then I would consider that hard hitting to any target (or non-target) is a DQ. Sparring must be controlled. Given that were not pummeling eachother, if it's a valid target, then you must be prepared for the consequences.

PS: I've had a woman kick so hard in the groin, that my cup was displaced to the front of my leg. Let me tell you, that's shearing force that I never want to feel again. I've had a bloody lip and a bloody nose (face is not a valid target unless you're a BB), also given to me by a female. And the only person to have dropped me to the floor at my dojo is a woman, and she's done it twice!

If you hit a girl to the chest I PROMISE you they WILL kick YOU where it hurts!! Well at least I would... And I hit/kick pretty dang hard. You can say what ever you want like girls cant hit or w/e! But when you hit a girl in the chest tell me what they do!
