aefibird
I'm very very fed up today. It's because of a combination of reasons including, but not limited to:broken washing machines, mean-spirited members of a department at work, my local council employers, the weather, car MOTs, lack of transport (see previous reason), computers, painful knees, dodgy prawn sandwiches, dissertations, leaking biro's, scratched CDs and overdue library books. And that's just the tip of the iceberg...Anyway, what do you all do to cheer yourself up when you're fed up? I bought myself a bumper slab of chocolate and a bottle of alcopops and watched Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. I still have the aforementioned problems (and then some!) but at least I feel better after my 'treat'. It's a bit of a girly treat, but hey, I like it! "Was it really worth it? Patrick
Sorry to hear that.Anyway... I don't know what I do. Probably just pretend I don't feel that way. UsagiYojimbo
What are "alcopops"? Sounds like something I need to try.
June1
*sigh* I always seem to feel this way, aefibird. I try to distract myself, pray, and, of course, go to the dojo. It doesn't work if what happened in the dojo is what made you feel bad, though... Kool Kiais: ICE! DIE! KITES! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH! Davison
Hitting the heavy bag always helps. sometimes, right when I am about to lose control, I just immediatly stop what I am doing and just sit back and smile and think about how things could be worse and how much I love being alive and in good health. You don't realize how good life really is until you you start to lose your health.
