Rules for weekend outlaid. Weekend expectations out laid and jobs delegated.Barracks 1-30 Cooking and Kitchen duties at allotted times. Barracks 31-40 Ground Cleaning and Gym cleaningBarracks 40-60 Shower and Toilet cleaning Barracks 61-80 Laundry cleaningEach one is responsible for their own barracks Lesson 1.7.30pm – 9.30pm In main hall. All grades. Basics9.30 pm until late – free time but there will be a discussion of Karate in main hall with KanchoLights out at 11pmSaturday4.30am Bell is rung – Get changed into your gi and be in the main hall by 5amLesson 2. 5am – 7pm Static and Dynamic Stretching 8 kilometre run up Otai Mountain Road. Basics7.00am – 9am BreakfastLesson 3. 9am – 11amSplit into Kyu and Dan grades. Kata5th Kyu – Heian Nidan4th Kyu – Heian Sandan3rd Kyu – Heian Yondan2nd Kyu – Tekki Shodan1st Kyu – HangetsuShodan and above – Gankaku(This will be the format for all Kata lessons for this Gasshuku)11.00am – 1pm LunchLesson 41pm – 3pmSplit into Kyu and Dan grades. Kata Bunkai3pm – 4.30pm RestLesson 55pm – 7pm All grades Kumite7.00pm DinnerRest of evening is free time. Lesson 135pm – 7pm Split into grades. Kata and Kata Bunkai. Finishing with a tug of war contest between the various Dojo’s. Losing Dojo’s get kitchen, and cleaning duties7.00 DinnerRest of evening is free time. Lights out at 11pmTuesday4.30am Bell is rung – Get changed into your gi and be in the main hall by 5amLesson 14. 5am – 7pm Static and Dynamic Stretching 8 kilometre run up Otai Mountain Road. Foot work and stance7.00am – 9am BreakfastLesson 159am – 11am All grades Kumite, basics and Tai Sabaki11.00am – 1pm LunchLesson 161pm – 3pm – All grades - Basics and self defence 3pm – 4pm. Clean up whole facility including kitchen, hall, barracks, showers, laundry, grounds, equipment etc5pm Inspection of facility and depart homeThis should be a very tough 4 days 7th Dan ChidokaiA true combat warrior has to be hard as nails in mind, body and soul. Warriors are action takers and not action fakers. If you are cruising, make time for losing
