mattys Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Is it just me, or is the black medium weight gi heavier than the white medium weight gi?
Jussi Häkkinen Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Depending on what "medium weight" do you mean. Shureido has lots of different weights. But if you're talking about KW-11 and KB-11, they're both same weight. If you've worn other longer than the newer one, there will be a weight difference - especially if you've used a tumble dryer (a big no-no). mattys Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 It's the KW/B-11 weight. I've worn my black one for about two or three months, and I only tumble dried it once, and it's heavier than that white one which I just got.
Jussi Häkkinen Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 That sounds weird. Maybe you got a mispacked KB-10? Otherwisely that sounds very weird. Jussi HäkkinenOkinawan Shorin-Ryu Seibukan Karate-Do (Kyan Chotoku lineage)TurkuFinland
aefibird Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Very odd! Why don't you contact Shureido and see what they say? Maybe you got the wrong white gi. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
