cathal Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 Hm, what are the differences you find in the custom jobs compared to the ones off the shelf? .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
aefibird Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Better fit, for a start. I always found that off-the-shelf moughguards never fitted really well - not even the good quality, expensive ones. Also, my dentist has told me to take the guard back with me every 6 months (when I go for a check-up) so that he can check that it is still fitting correctly and isn't putting pressure on anything.Plus, I have mine customised with the Union Jack flag on the front of it which looks cool. Hey, martial arts is all about looking cool, right?? "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!

Hey, martial arts is all about looking cool, right?? Oh lady...you just GOTTA post a picture of you wearing that!!! My nightly prayer..."Please, just let me win that PowerBall Jackpot just once. I'll prove to you that it won't change me!"

dtstiachi Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 What kind of mouth guards do you all wear? (if you wear any) "The journey of a 1,000 miles starts with but a single step."
