kitsune_no_tama
do we have to be able to use our favorite weapon? my favorite is the six coordinated staff, but i only know how to use bo jo and three sectionedit: i take that back. meridian axes and kwan dao my new favs "Karate is an art. It must be regarded as such with its entirety of philosophical thought and development of the mind in harmony with the body. If it isn't thought of this way it is valueless. It is like eating only the bitter skin of the apple while leaving the sweet inner meat untasted. It is this crucial premise that is being overlooked today, and if the tide is not turned, I must predict the demise of the art. ProjectJanus
One of my favorite looking weapons would have to be the chain whip. There will always be the Jackie Chans and Jet Li's who will come along and dazzle us with their screen antics. But Bruce Lee was a seeker of knowledge, a true master of the fighting arts and philosophy.
parkerlineage
I know I've already posted on here, but I've learned a couple new weapons (bokken, dao, kama), and I have to say I'm leaning toward the dao as my fav. I did come within .04 of a 30/30 at a tournament with my sai, though, so I still love them. McNerny
Hey everyone, The two weapons I like the most are the bo and nunchaku. But, if I had to pick one, it would be the nunchaku. F-14's are pretty effective, too. A good technique is beautiful but a beautiful technique is not always good. -Hirokazu Kanazawa
