lucifersdad Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 id have to go with kama! failing that a good solid bo tends to be helpful sticks and stones may break my bones, but i am trained to kill you.
taiji fajin Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 I like the short staff, because it seems the most likely thing to resemble something I'll be able to grab during a fight. I don't think I'm going to find anything like a jool bohng if I'm attacked on the street, and I don't carry around weapons. For pure fun, I like the staff, then the sword, then jool bohng. This might change after I go to a broadsword camp this summer that I've really been looking forward to. Fetch Daddy's blue fright wig! I must be handsome when I unleash my rage.

Gunyo Kogusoku Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Anything that isn't nailed down or too heavy to use. Other than that, classical Japanese weaponry. (i.e. katana, kodachi, yari, rokushakubo, naginata, kusarigama, kusarifundo, chigiriki, jutte & tessen) Regards,-Steve DelaneyThe methods of war become the methods of peace.
Sauzin Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Bo for all around favorite. Eku for just plain fun. The only two things that stand between an effective art and one that isn't are a tradition to draw knowledge from and the mind to practice it.
fallen_milkman Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Short staff is my favorite to play with, but I am much better with a knife. 36 styles of danger
CapitalKarate Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 Nunchaku, escrima stick, knife, bo. Have to pick one? Escima stick. Joshua Brehm-When you're not practicing remember this; someone, somewhere, is practicing, and when you meet them, they will beat you.
