Shorinryu Sensei
Actually, I'm a she. But thanks! It's kinda tricky, though; since I used to do goju, I kept wanting to do long deep stances. Gotta get used to this whole "natural stance" bit.Woops. My mistake. In that case, welcome to the Shorin Ryu family!Well bud...I guess the first thing we'll have to work on in June is gender recognition. Maybe you've been in California to long? Shorin Ryuu
Well bud...I guess the first thing we'll have to work on in June is gender recognition. Maybe you've been in California to long? You used the word "brotherhood" first; I only followed your lead on this one...maybe you've been out in the middle-of-nowhere Montana too long? UsagiYojimbo
Wouldn't it be more logical to have "Tomoe" as your nick, then? Ok, now I have to show my ignorance... I don't know what Tomoe means.[edit] Ok, yeah, the character Tomoe. It's been a while since I read the comics and I didn't read a lot of them; I just thought Usagi was cool. But yeah, Tomoe kicks *. [/edit] Do you know which branch of Shorin Ryu you'll be taking? Sensei's name? It's Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu. My Senseis are Richard and Jo McCulty. They studied under Gary Tiktin, who studied under Master Nagamine Shoshin. Our school is a member of the American Shorin Ryu Karate Association. cathal
Well how about the brother-sisterhood? Not as catchy. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
