I'm very interested in knowing how that one works, too.

Revenge of the Fish??? :lol: I love the name!!! :up:

Cathal, all of our techniques are named like that. Levelling the Clouds, Attacking the Wall, Plucking a Bird From The Sky...

I am in Parker Kenpo.

Well, maybe Parker Kenpo (prior to "American" Kenpo)

I think these are Chinese (Tracy) Kenpo names.

It's All GOOD!!

It's All Kenpo (well I'm not sure about Revenge of the Fish but it sounds totally devastating!!!) :dead:

Kenpo Training may not be a Lifetime Journey, but it's Definitely the Journey of a Lifetime!!

I believe it's actually a 4th Degree Black Belt technique, because when the instructor in that class, Mr. John (6th Degree) mentioned the technique, Mr. Nick(3rd Degree), teaching the lower belts had no idea what it was.

17 years old, thank you very much, and I've been training for 11 of those 17 years. I know wee have code words...but since when have Clouds, Fish, Walls, and Birds been included in the 'code words'?

By the way, if anybody knows what those actually stand for, I'd love to hear.

Peace;

I studied Nick Cerio's Kenpo for many years. He and Ed Parker were friends and trained together under Master Chow (I think that was his name).

In any event, we had similiar names... Buckling Brance, Defying the Storm, Menacing Twirl, Rotating Destruction, etc. I think it was easier to remember the colorful names instead of Combo1, etc.

I also studied some Parker's Kenpo for a little bit and I remember a few names like Glancing Salute, etc.
