pineapple
I think that everone goes through the ups and downs of training. The thing to remember is that if you're on the down side, the up side is just around the corner if you hang in there. I never worry about who is better than me as long as I'm better today than I was yesterday. What works works
Treebranch
Just remember this sticking point in your training is building and building, it will soon break and you will evolve. Persistence and dedication through times like these are the true test of your training. Be the water that shapes the rock. Muaythaiboxer
i work harder at martial arts than anyone i know and at times i wonder if it is worth it and every time i reflect i se that yes im twice the fighter and twice the person i used to be, everyone hits a wall now and then but after a while you get past it and get better. markusan
It is important to improve, and you will. But the most important thing is to love training. Some times you get stuck because you're trying too hard. But that's a good thing. Because at some stage you will get tired of trying too hard and your mind will let go of that idea because it's just too hard to maintain it. Then you'll relax a bit and leap ahead.(until the next idea comes up and gets stuck for a while) That's what MA is about as well as fighting, it's about knowing yourself. parkerlineage
I have been training for eleven years. At year ten, I looked at where I was at year eight, and felt I had gone nowhere. I was panicing as my black belt test approached, feeling that I was in no way prepared enough. In hindsight, I see that I did improve, greatly, in fact. There is no way you cannot improve. Every time you hit the mat, you learn something new, and become just that much better. Just wait it out; in the end, you will see your advances.
