ravenzoom
Ray Mercer WAS an excellent boxer. I looked at him on this clip and he looked so old, and out of shape it was pathetic. Tyson is in a better shape than him that's for sure, so he'd surely fare better. If i would of been Mercer, I would of come in close real quickly in the fight to take out his kicking power. But then again, I believe Mercer was too old to even move quickly inside.
baronbvp
I wish I could punch as well as washed-up Mike Tyson. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.
ravenzoom
Me too. I wouldn't be surprised if a 65 year old Tyson would punch harder than most of us on this forum.
unknown
He's been knocked out twice in a row. The last dude who knocked him out was a half decent fighter from England. He is "has been". By the way I don't think he'll be able to take a leg kick.
SevenStar
nobody in k-1 has the hands to damage him. He'd be great in k-1. He'll be able to take leg kicks just fine. pain tolerance is something that any fighter is used to. just like he trains to slip punches, he will train to do leg blocks. If this does actually happen, you can bet that he will dominate.
kenpo4life
Seven star speaks the truth. I have sparred competitive boxers and world champs. Michael Carbajal and Terry Norris in San Diego. I can tell you that the skill of a pro is relative when watching them agains other pros. Against an amatuer, their skill is readily apparent. It like in hoops. They dont look so tall among each other. But they are giants to most folks. If my survival means your total destruction, then so be it.
SevenStar
it won't happen. I just read that tyson is hoping to have a boxing match in the coming months - possibly two - one at the beginning of summer and one at the end. his next opponent may be either kevin mcbride or bob mirovic. baronbvp
I don't think he can let go. As much as I'm not really a fan of his due to his lack of integrity and class -- especially after biting off Holyfield's ear -- I hope he suceeds. He's a helluva fighter. Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.
