GhostlySykanRyu
How exactly is it unavoidable? If you managed to actually plan the fight with the other person, it can't be over too dire a matter. To condemn the art of another is to condemn your own as well. We all have the same origin.
Taku-Shimazu
My advise, Realise that you are beyond mere mortal ability, let a demon possess you in battle. This means; If you think that you will win and force your determination to be turned into victory, you will win. The cool summer breeze passes me by. username9
Don't fight the guy!! Simply from the law side of things- if someone gets severely hurt for some reason then you can't go down the root of claiming it was a spontaneous reaction - you're pre-meditating a fight! And then again, you might also be beaten into a bloody pulp because of your bloated ego Even if you come out on top in the fight, you've already lost... Dark Shogun
It's probably all over by now, so tell us how it went.
Cmon
Right, all those people telling him its a bad idea and that he should walk away are right. But i don't think he is going to. I would try and talk it out but if you have to fight fight until you win, don't take it further beating your opponent to a bloody pulp. Disarm the fight in an effective way but don't get carried away. If he is on the floor not doing anything walk away. If he runs don't chase him down and then beating him to the floor. Also i think really you shouldn't through the first "punch" because then you are acting technically in self defence.
Treebranch
That's why I like grappling arts, you don't have to throw a single punch if you know what your doing. Also, people who see the fight will say "the other threw the first punch".
