i was wondering what you thought of him, i have had several chances to study with him, and i would say he is a very skilled and experienced Shihan

from all I've read about him,he seems to be a very good Karateka,It's hard to say as I've never actually trained with him though.

Probably the most knowledgable Shito-ryu Sensei/Shihan in this country. I got to see him and meet him in the late 1980's and he was incredible then.

 

One word of warning though. If you ever get a chance to eat dinner at a table with him, don't eat or drink anything when he starts to tell a story. You'll wind up passing food through your nose or spraying the table with your drink. :P

 

Everyone at the table almost fell out of their chair at least once during dinner. When he tells a story, he's FUNNNYYYY :lol: :lol: :lol: :D

He was an idol of mine in the early 70's when I started training and he still is - got a chance to train under him? Take it or regret it!

what i meant by "had several chances to train with him" i have taken them, 4 years running at his annual visit to Lloydminister

I've never had a chance to meet him but from what I have read on him,he is one of the most knowledgable people out there. He doubled for Pat Morita in the movie "Karate Kid".

Why punch someone when their on the ground when you can just kick them
