What to do?

Hello again everyone,

I would really like to learn using a weapon, honestly, I'm dreaming about it a long, long time! But, how could I practise it? There's no school or dojo anywhere around here :bawling:

So do you have any tips about how I could train?

And what should I begin with, I really like swords and that kind of weapons...

Thanks in advance,

I know how you feel, but that didn't stop me, I learnt myself. What I did was buy a cheap white oak Bokken and made up my own katas. I also watched videos online, looked at pictures and tried to copy what was being done in them. Eventually it will pay off and you'll be getting good in no time. If you want a bokken you can find some cheap new ones in some of the ebay shops over at ebay. :)

Yeah I know  There is a Karate school nearby, but,

1) The lessons are at a time that I have to work...

2) I don't think they teach arts of weapons...

But I'm thinking about making my own kata's with a bokken or something....
