back_fist
What do you think are the greatest kung fu movies of all time? And why are they your favorites? To be worn out is to be renewed. -Lao Tzu
ravenzoom
I'm no expert on the domaine but I have seen more than one. From what I have seen here are my favourites: Operation Dragon with Bruce Lee; The Body guard and the Street Fighter series with Sonny Chiba; Bloodfight with Bolo Yeung; The Image of Bruce Lee with Bruce Li (the guy who was to replace the real Bruce Lee - very good movie by the way); Jackie Chan also has some very good Kung Fu movies. So these would basically be my favourites.
David
Basically Jackie Chan. #1 Fearless Hyena - amazing ripped body and cartwheels on his head. #2 Drunken Master - cool music #3 Hand of Death - cool story and cool music ** Censor-O-Meter: 9 **
ravenzoom
I have just finished watching the Street fighter (sister street fighter), I can tell you it's a pretty good movie although I like more the first. By the way, Sonny Chiba really does seem a competent martial artist in those movies, wouldn't have liked to face him in his good days
David
Is Sister Streetfighter the one where the girl somersaults over a guys head and plunges a dagger down into his head from above? I enjoyed that . If so, it was a Karate film, not Kung Fu... Rgds, David ** Censor-O-Meter: 9 **
ravenzoom
Yes that's it!! I know it's a Karate movie, but I kind of all put these old karate-kung fu movies in the same category, they're basically the same except for their style of fighting
fangshi
The five deadly venoms . Totally cheesey but those are the ones I like the best . We are not so much individual beings as individual points of perception within one immense being.
Harmony
No classic kung fu movie collection is complete without Master of the Flying Guillotine. I also like any of them that show how the young disciple must train in all those bizarre exercises to learn to fight and take revenge. "Enemies you threaten make armies. Enemies you destroy make graves.""Even though you hold a sword over my heart I will not give up."
Davison
I agree with Harmony. I just seen master of the flying guillotine about a month ago and I loved it! That guy with the guillotine was just bad@!#. I with I knew how to use one of those things! Why punch someone when their on the ground when you can just kick them
