battousai16 Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 my advice to you? don't worry about accurate facts. at least, don't make it a top priority. the chances of you being able to shoot out random facts on the essay question on the a.p. test are slim, so all you need is a basic idea, which you should be able to find in your book. learning to look that up will be beneficial later on in the semester, as well as other classes... and later on in life, i can only assume. instead, work on the essay structure. the key to a good essay is the hook/line/sinker introduction and the firm conclusion (do NOT end on a question!) take 5-10 minutes before starting to outline the body and organize your main points, it'll really help. don't elaborate on settings and things, just stick to cold, hard facts (in complete sentences). just don't worry so much on the little stuff, you'll have some leeway. I love politics and reading about it... (Seriously, I do. I'm not being sarcastic. In the words of Laura Ingraham..."Who says politics is boring?")
