Chaz Posted March 14, 2005 Share Posted March 14, 2005 it's a circling hand motion found in taiji. the purpose of it is to offbalance the opponent, but I know people who circle thehands in a similar manner for distraction purposes. You could say they're similar, all of our windmill blocks are designed to cause your opponent pain, or creating a vunerability such as off-setting balance. But, also to expose for attack... They sound pretty similar to me...
