DasZab
When your children call you sensei even outside of class!I teach a bunch of high-school aged kids. Every time they know I'm going to their school (it's right across the street from the dojo) they all line up at attention in front of their classes until I "bow them in." ... THOSE KIDS ARE CRAZY La voie. La vérité. La vie.

DC111
and this is me to a "T"- You know you're obsessed with martial arts when you get up in the morning sore, and the thought of going back to the dojo is all that keeps you going.Haha, that's me right now.And whoever said bowing while shaking someone's hand... I've done that before, too. It's more than just a martial art. It's responsibility and respect. It's friendship and trust. But most of all, it's a passion. NewEnglands_KyoSa
here's one that i've lived:when you're getting an hour long MRI on your completely mutilated ankle and you go through ALL the open handed and weapon forms of TWO different martial arts styles in your head, step-by-step! Stlthofnight
When you enjoy practicing various throws in your back yard in the heat of the day with your friend and you're the ukeWhen you put the school wrestlers into a choke hold and forget they don't know to tap out. When you practice weapons katas with stage props while waiting during play rehersalWhen you actually break the stage props doing sowhen you scare your friends (MA or non-MA) while doing your kata When you plan your work schedule around your martial arts schedule. When you can determine the MA style of video game characters within 30 seconds. When you ask your Spanish teacher how to say Japanese words in SpanishAnd yes I've done all of these, but I don't play too many combat fighting games, just at my friends once in a while.
