isshinryu5toforever Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Don't feel bad, it feels that way a lot of times. I just keep thinking to myself, you know someday being nice is going to pay off. I have been told by quite a few girls though that I am too nice to live. He who knows others is wise. Shorin Ryuu Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 In many cases, yes.I just keep thinking to myself, you know someday being nice is going to pay off. I have been told by quite a few girls though that I am too nice to live. Classic example... Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/
Gandhi Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I have thought about this for a while. after having researched the web for psychopaths (people unable to feel empathy for their equals) these are capable of leaving your wallet empty with no remorse, not just commit murder, and seeing their final end I see this is the wrong path. Destruction is against the law of life, it is extinction, and therefore punishable and undesirable. In other words good wins. isshinryu5toforever Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Unfortunately, we are a capitalist society that rewards those who get away with the most. Sure you can be an honest business man, but if you don't make money, you are screwed. However, if you do something dishonest yet within the bounds of the law, you are a great businessman. We reward those who get what they want in any way necessary even if it involves lying and cheating. He who knows others is wise. ovine king Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 no idea but i do know that genuine nice guys don't whinge about it. earth is the asylum of the universe where the inmates have taken over.don't ask stupid questions and you won't get stupid answers.
isshinryu5toforever Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I dunno, if I'd say that. Everyone has to let off some steam once in a while. If you get stepped on enough times, even the nicest guys get upset. Just because you get irritated or upset doesn't mean you're not a nice guy. It's kind of like the Kenny Rogers song Coward of the County. Sometimes people just get nudged and nudged, until they feel themselves on the edge, and they have to let things out. June1 Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Just remember that what goes around, comes around. I think eventually, the universe has a way of balancing itself out. People get what they deserve, good or bad. Kool Kiais: ICE! DIE! KITES! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH! KIAI!"Know Thyself""Circumstances make me who I am."
Red J Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Be nice, don't be a doormat. There is a huge difference. I had to lose my mind to come to my senses.
