strangepair03 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Hello all...I was hoping someone could tell me where I could buy some traditional hojo undo equipment. Nigiri game(gripping jars), chiishi(stone lever), ishisashi(stone padlocks), tetsu geta (iron clogs) etc; I know I can get modern stuff, but I really like the traditional gear. Thanks A punch should stay like a treasure in the sleeve. It should not be used indiscrimately.Kyan Chotoku Sensei

Shorin Ryuu Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 I've bought some of Kyoshi Roberts' hojo undo equipment (bushifitness) and enjoy training with them about 3 times a week. His stuff is great quality. Sadly, his store has been down and most likely will be for a while. I got to meet him in person once. A very skilled karateka and a very nice individual. Shorin Ryuu Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Yeah. He has a secondary job as "executive protection" that keeps him rather busy. He's actually in Afghanistan right now, I believe... Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/
