Piastre
It would be a good idea if you had plenty of cash to grease the right palms, the IOC being the non-corrupt organisation it is Seriously though, the amount of time it and BS that has to be gone through just to get a sport to demonstration sport level is mind boggling. It's highly unlikely under any circumstances that a sport would be accepted in the few intervening years between now and Beijing. However, I believe that each host nation gets to choose one demonstration sport for automatic entry. Perhaps somebody can confirm that?
thaiboxerken
I doubt it qualifies as a sport that can be introduced into the olympics. There is a minimum number of countries that have to be active in the sport to be introduced. Just kick 'em, they'll understand.- Me Apprentice Instructor under Guro Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu and Filipinno Martial arts.Certified Instructor of Frank Cucci's Linxx system of martial arts. Blade13
I read in Kung Fu Qigong magazine a couple of months ago that it will definately be in the Olympics on 2008. They said that Cung Le will be the American team captain. They might have been wrong though. *Just passing on the info.* I really hope they were right. I might actually watch the Olympics if they had San Shou! _________________ *To HELL with opportunity!
