First off jeet kune do is not an art...it is a phiilosophy and is meant to be applied to a nucleus which would be "your" art that best fits your physique

I began Wing Chun because I wanted to experience what Bruce did while training with Yip Man and the original clan in Hong Kong. Having had the privilege to study with Moy Yat and his clan I must say that I think it came very close and I am very, very glad I had the chance to do it. Like Bruce said, Wing Chun is a great system. I happen to think it is the best system - as do many of my kung-fu brothers.

I would say start in Wing Chun, for sure!!

I personaly take Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, but i'd say 80% of our training is Wing Chun. The way I feel is, JKD is the way to get into Wing Chun. Its how we can get close enough to get to use our Wing CHun. I personaly think Wing Chun is A MUST! You CAN NOT have JKD with out Wing Chun! So go for Wing Chun.
