DD Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 hey guys, does anyone know where I can get a green or purple uniform? or is there any way I could just dye a white gi with it looking good and the dye not coming off? thanks
Harmony Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 I know that in my century catalog there are several different colors available im sure they could accomodate you, try century.com "Enemies you threaten make armies. Enemies you destroy make graves.""Even though you hold a sword over my heart I will not give up."
aefibird Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Centrury tend to sell many different gi in various colour combinations - they'd probably be able to accomodate you. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
pressureguy Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Kwonusa.com sells a bright yellow gi that is actually pretty cheap, but you can give up on Century. They do not sell any purple or green. There was a company about a year ago in Black Belt magazine that advertised purple, green, and orange, but it is not in this month's issue. When I find it, I will send you the link. In the meantime, click here http://www.martialartssupermarket.com/index.cfm?action=main&catid=33 Check all of those out. The camoflauge V-neck one might be interesting for you. Also that link lists white and black uniforms that you can have trimmed in any color. pressureguy ]===[------------------------>http://www.backyardmartialarts.org]===[------------------------>
Harmony Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 I double checked first so I know Im right, the 2005 century catalog sells multi colored or solid, and yes the have purple and green. So maybe they can still be an option. Good luck regardless of what you choose! "Enemies you threaten make armies. pressureguy Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Oops. I apoligize then. Here in the US, Century is the leading company, but until about three years ago, did not offer any selection. Lately they have changed that, so I guess you should always check with every company. pressureguy ]===[------------------------>http://www.backyardmartialarts.org]===[------------------------>
pressureguy Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 http://www.martialartsmart.net/kenpouniforms.html There are some more unusual uniforms there. After you look at those, click on the taekwondo and karate uniforms categories at the bottom of that page. pressureguy ]===[------------------------>http://www.backyardmartialarts.org]===[------------------------>
DD Posted March 7, 2005 Author Posted March 7, 2005 Hey Harmony, I also have the 2005 century product catalog but their purple and green uniforms are under the custom services. Am I able to buy just one of their custom uniforms and do you know how much they cost? If so please tell me. Thanks
aefibird Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Your best bet would probably be to contact Century and ask them how much a single purple/green uniform would be. "Was it really worth it? Only time and death may ever tell..." The Beautiful South - The Rose of My CologneSheffield Steelers!
