tommarker
Guys I really understand that I should ask my Sensei, for he should know everything that I will need to know. But he likes for some of his advance belts to find out on their own, looking it up. He wants to know that you also put in time and effort outside of the dojo to learn more about the martial arts. AH-HA! So you're just being lazy, then. Seriously, go out to the library, do some research, write down some names, look up those names, etc. You'll find that that origin of weapons is not something that we can say as a "fact." All you will be able to offer are various theories, some which directly contradict each other. Then, based on the evidence presented, and your own logical skills, you will be able to say which theory you think is most accurate - and most importantly -- WHY. And when you're done, you'll have a lot more knowledge that from asking a bunch of putzes on the internet (self included) "hey, where did nunchaku come from?" I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
