Patrick Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Hello, I thought I'd see who here plays fantasy baseball. If enough people do, we may start up our own league. But, please respond in this next couple of days. Thanks. Patrick O'Keefe - KarateForums.com AdministratorHave a suggestion or a bit of feedback relating to KarateForums.com? GojuRyu Shawn Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Hm... Fantasy baseball... What's that? I would like to learn how to play. Do you play over the internet? Thanks, Shanti. Current: Yellow Belt in GojuRyu. White Belt in Kabudo.
vertigo Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Yep, you play over the net.. You "build" a team made up of mlb players and compete against other teams. You get points for how good your players did during a span of time (week, day, whatever) "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." - T. S. Eliot
krunchyfrogg Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I'm in. I love baseball, I love fantasy baseball, and it's both fun and easy to do! PrideampPoise Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Ok, so its well past "the next couple of days", but I would be interested. The only issue I might have is with timing if its a "live" draft. But if its an automated draft where we pre-rank the players, or a draft done over multiple days where we check in on a message board, I could probably swing it.
krunchyfrogg Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Darn, I really thought this would take off. "A life is not important, except in the impact it has on other lives."-- Jackie Robinson"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."-- Edmund Burke
vertigo Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 I kind of did too! Hmm.. must not be as many baseball fans out there as I thought there would be "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go." - T. S. Eliot
karatekid101 Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Seems cool, but do I need to log in? KarateKid101"The answers to life aren't in the back of the book"- Charlie Brown
vertigo Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Probably, wherever we'd do it... however, as baseball season is literally around the corner, this is probably going to fall apart, unless we somehow pull about 4 or so more people (at least!) within this week.
