DD Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Have any of you guys heard of this? I think it is going to be a discovery channel series that airs in july where Roland Osbourne hosts. I think it is supposed to talk about styles from different countries such as tae kwon do, aikido, and brazilian jiu-jitsu. If you have any more info could you tell me? thanks
CapitalKarate Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Sounds interesting. Reminds me of some MA documentary on the same channel a year or two ago. They did some kind of count down or something, most of the schools they interviewed though looked like McDojos. But thats just my opinion. cathal Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I saw "Deadly Arts" on IFC today, it was very interesting. It was all about kalaripayattu, and was very informative and the demos were excellent. .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu

senna_trem Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 I saw a show the other day and it was the samurai guy and he travels around the country and does interesting things. I saw him go duck hunting. I think it was on the life network... "I think therefore I am" Rene Descartes
