Mook Jong / Wooden Dummy

Recommended Posts

It only matters if you intend using the dummy as originally intended - to hone & work the basic structure of Wing Chun tools - The angles on the dummy are designed to facilitate correct structure in things like tan-sao, boang-sao, huen-sao & kwan-sao.

Hey Yoda, I only do the Dummy set that my teacher showed me, I believe its the Gung FU set your talking about,

In my school, we train in all aspects of what Bruce did, every thing from Hong Kong, to La/China town. So we do Wing Chun, and JKD. But is there a book on the dummy sets??

I would like to train with one, but I dont have the money to buy one. I tried making one out of a telephone pole in my back yard, but that didnt work out well, haha. Every time someone comes to my house they always ask why there are wooden rods coming out of the telephone pole.
