Taku-Shimazu Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Konnichiwa, I was just saying sumimasen to those of you who asked for info or maybe were in a 'hot debate' with me whilst I was away for the week in spain, well not the mainland just a small coastal island called Majorca. Does anyone know a cost effective site for a new punchbag? The cool summer breeze passes me by.
The Phenom Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Erm do you want a new punchbag? Sorry, I don't know any specific sites, but you could try any local store, they shouldn't be too expensive.

Taku-Shimazu Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 Yeah I tried Index and Argos, you know these stores? (I was just wondering how famous they are, beause they are like the biggest shop in UK.) Is £30 the cheapest I can get? I am running low on money! (Thats about 30,000 Yen / $45) The cool summer breeze passes me by.

Taku-Shimazu Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 What do you mean, weight? Height? I don't care about weight as long as it is not air or water. And height, I don't mind. Either way keep it cheap. Does that help? The cool summer breeze passes me by.
AngelaG Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Sorry - I meant height as in just for punching, or long enough to be used for kicks as well? Tokonkai Karate-do Instructorhttp://www.karateresource.com Kata, Bunkai, Articles, Reviews, History, Uncovering the Myths, Discussion Forum
ovine king Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 weight and size matters a lot. the last thing you want is a 20kg 3 foot bag cos that is next to useless. i'd say anything less than 40kgs shouldn't be considered. argos isn't the biggest store in the uk.... especially if you're talking about boxing supplies. here's a thought, go to a martial arts/boxing shop and ask in there. most of them places are run by people who would know a hell of a lot more and can recommend something that would suit your needs. earth is the asylum of the universe where the inmates have taken over.don't ask stupid questions and you won't get stupid answers.
battousai16 Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 for $45, i think you're best off looking for something used. can you get a new heavy bag that low? "I hear you can kill 200 men and play a mean six string at the same time..."-Six String Samurai
