Mu Ryuk Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 The nerves are starting to fade away, to be replaced by the cold determination that can only mean one thing: It's time to do this. So let's do this. 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 20, 2005. Passion transcends pain.
1kickKO Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Apparently he has a poetic urge to get his new belt. Good luck..I think.
Knifehand007 Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Apparently he has a poetic urge to get his new belt. Good luck..I think.apparently.... sshhhh... you think he/she/it could fill us in or something, at least... Strength is no match for skill
1kickKO Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Hmm...these kind of people always turn out to be those weird serial killer stalker people.
Shorin Ryuu Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I hope not. I live in the same town as he does, although I've never met him...seems nice enough. Tell us how your test went. Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/
tkdBill Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Mybe he's going for a new KarateForums.com belt, and placing short cryptic messages is a way to build up the number of posts...
tkdBill Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Woo Hoo!!! With that post I earned my KarateForums yellow belt. Pretty soon I won't need that other black one any more...
1kickKO Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Hmm..possibly you're right, and congratulations mr. yeller belt.
Mu Ryuk Posted February 21, 2005 Author Posted February 21, 2005 Hmm...these kind of people always turn out to be those weird serial killer stalker people. ARGH! YOU'VE FOILED MY PLOT! FOOL!! No, seriously though. I tested yesterday. I was skipped one rank (from 7th gup blue belt to 5th gup green belt). I did pretty well on the test I think, could have been better. I wasn't alone, that's for sure...Mr.Attebury (my late instructor, R.I.P.) was there with me, helping me out. I got a second wind quite a few times, especially during jumping kicks, when at some point I started pushing harder than I thought possible, getting a good three to four feet off the ground. Thanks for all the (sort of) support. Passion transcends pain.
