Why fight at all? If you are attacked and they commit to the attack and are really trying to hurt you, take them out as fast as you can. You don't have to kill them to take them out. If someone is jumping around jabbing and sticking they don't want to get hurt nor are they trying to seriously do you harm. They are displaying their manhood and showing off to everyone how tough they are. Take your belt off and whip them like a dog and tie him up with the belt.

Outside of training hall, I always use a low slash kick (Muay Thai) to the knees (direct to the side of the knee or above the cap). I throw with 100% power. Set up first with a fake to the head.

8 out of 10 times, the opponent could not stand. I could walk away.

grab his hair kick him in the groin at our school the person that throws the first punch gets in trouble so if they throw the first puch i will destroy then best no to start it in the first place if it can be helped

I go with most of the first posts.

A well placed front-kick to the solar-plexus should give you enough distance, and end the situation quickly.
