CapitalKarate Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Does anyone know of a free site I can get onto that has a list of kata for Shorin-ryu? I'm not sure which branch of shorin-ryu it is, all I know is the first sets of kata are, kihon katas, fukyu katas, some kata set that starts with what sounds like 'tykee'. Joshua Brehm-When you're not practicing remember this; someone, somewhere, is practicing, and when you meet them, they will beat you.
P.A.L Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 i've never seen kihon katas on the net, teki is Shotokan kata the original kata calls Naihanchi which we practice in shorin ryu.
Shorin Ryuu Posted February 17, 2005 Posted February 17, 2005 Most kata you seen on the internet are either purposely abbreviated or changed versions of a system's "true" way of doing them or just clips rather than the whole thing. Martial Arts Blog:http://bujutsublogger.blogspot.com/
