Ideally if it a sword your looking, then a custom one made to your specs would be the way to go. However, it can be costly. Also could depend on the type of sword your looking for....katana, tai chi sword, broad sword, etc. Di'DaDeeeee!!!Mind of Mencia

ShotokanKid
I have a katana and a wakizashi and I am a young male about your size. I would recommend the wakizashi or sai or maybe you'd be interested in throwing knives or something like that. Good luck "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."
Sauzin
Try the Chinese Jian (Tai chi sword). 28" blade would probably work great for you. Of course, you should find an instructor. The only two things that stand between an effective art and one that isn't are a tradition to draw knowledge from and the mind to practice it. cathal
Other small weapons: tessen, jutte, daggers (these seem to go with TKD students I see), and nunchuku .The best victory is when the opponent surrendersof its own accord before there are any actualhostilities...It is best to win without fighting.- Sun-tzu
Davison
Or maybe a handgun would do? Why punch someone when their on the ground when you can just kick them
