Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. Have I mentioned V-Day was bad for me this year?

Awesome time for me. Wifey got me a 6 pack plan of Mets tickets.

That's about the most romantic thing that's ever happened to me, that I can really appreciate! :) :D

At my school, one of the clubs sells bags of candy that students can send to each other through the school mail (every student has their own mailbox). I got a bag...but it was from my dorm dean! It was sweet of her and I appreciated it, but it's not the same as getting one from a guy. Then again, most of the guys here kinda suck at being anything but friends.

So, I was alone for Valentine's Day in every romantic sense. I really don't mind being single that much anymore. I'm really busy and don't even think about it...but the V-Day just sort of shoves my inability to get a date in my face and rubs it in nice and deep. Especially when my Spanish teacher asked in class that day: "Quien no tiene un novio o novia?" ... "who doesn't have a boyfriend or girlfriend?". And then proceeded to try to match me up with this other kid in the class. *sigh*

I think I win for most dysfunctional Valentine's Day story...so far that is.
