But why do you think that usually is?

Boxers know they have those extra rounds, and so conserve themselves, while KB's don't have that luxury. Also, a Kb's range is greatly increased by his ability to use his legs, which really makes the ring feel a lot smaller. Its harder to get away from that kind of range.

The greatest clarity is profound silence.

Boxing is a part of western culture, nothing can beat boxing in the west just like nothing beats Chinese martial art in China, Japanese in Japan, Korean in Korea and so on.

I don't think japan falls into that category... MMA is HUGE in japan. So is kickboxing, thanks to the K1. judo is huge all over the globe, not just japan.

I don't know where any of u r, but i live in New Jersey and on ESPN 2 on Fridays after Boxing there is tons of K-1 Kickboxing it goes on all night, I'm not sure about the exact time but it normally starts around 10:00 11:00 pm. But for those of u like me in training staying up that late isn't good, I think we need to boycott all sports channels until the show alot more Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and other Martial Arts events at more sensible times.

yeah, they show old ones. that doesn't mean it's popular. Heck the timeslot shows that they aren't popular. I usually get to watch them, as they keep at least two of the TVs at the club I bounce at on ESPN.

There is a lot of money in boxing. Moreso than in kickboxing. The money will always attract more elite athletes.

I live in Portugal and here Boxing and Kickboxing are two sports that are practiced by thousands but that don't have many impact in the media. But I think that the problem is that Kickboxing is still seen as a sport practice by people with no culture or education

boxing was around in america first and it is harder to compete as a pro kickboxer because of the hard conitioning it takes to handle the force of the kick, most people arent willing to take that punishment

"Live life easy and peacefully, but when it is time to fight become ferocious."

that's not true at all. tyson can punish any kickboxer out there. so could several others. There is more money in boxing, so the average boxer has to train that much harder in order to be competitive, as they have more people to go through to get to the top.

Living in Hong Kong, I think more and more people

doing Muay Thai instead of Boxing here.

For Fitness mainly and even for Youth.

No longer getting bad image of being brutal,

Muay Thai is now florishing in Gym.

Boxing? No way, very few people know Boxing

here. Maybe just 2 or 3 gym really know Boxing.

After throwing 1 - 2 punch, they follow by a low kick.

Combo of boxing is not that common.

Kung Fu in Hong Kong?

Only Wing Chun get more popularity.

Other Chinese Kung Fu is dying off

Darkness grants me pair of dark black eye,

Yet I determine to look for Brightness
