Set realistic worthwhile exciting goals in your training.

I am the other way, I have too much will power and often over train. I have to be very careful or I suffer badly.

Balance is the key

I always set practical goals for my workouts, and then cut them into a large fraction, like 20ths. Like say I tell myself that I am going to jog for twenty minutes on the tredmill . Then I keep telling myself, only 19 of those little minutes left, you're a quarter through, and so on. When you set a goal, it is hard not to want to reach it.

i too have the "problem" of too much will power...

I find often go out into the night to this field by my house and i train there... i've built some training equipment and such... often i will go out at around 8 or 9 and i'll lose track of time and not go inside until around 4 or 5...

needless to say, the next morning when i wake up, my entire body hurts... hehe... especially my forearms and fists...

whenever i set goals... i feel like i'm selling myself short... i just go outside and train until i can't train anymore... my friends say i'm obsessed... hehe... i dont think i am... i just train a lot

anywho...

three60roundhouse had good advice... set goals... meet the goals... and go beyond your goals...

hehe...

there's my advice for the day... lol...

hehe...

Will power is something that grows with use, and need. The first step is deciding if you really want it.

Will power. hhhmmmmmmmmm. It's something that I deal with every day. I'm not exactly your middle weight category. I'm on the heavy side. I diet and workout. but sometimes I find myself trying to cheat the diet. When I do I just think of how much of a loser thing that is to do and I try to show myself that I don't need to cheat. :karate:

NO such thing as to much will power my friend. I have more will power then anybody i know but i just want more.

The Man the with most will power will be champion. If you train that hard everyday your body should adapt to it unless you do somthing not to smart to your body.
