I really like drawing, and would like to take draw a portrait of my Sensei; does anybody have any good ideas on how to take a good picture without telling him why? (If it doesn't come out good, I don't want him asking about it, haha!) Just taking a random shot seemed weird and out of character. Help! :D

Just tell him you have a photo album and you want to take a picture so that later in life you can show your kids or grand kids or something lame like that.

I did that 3 years ago..... but maybe he's forgotten about it... :brow: Haha. But it would seem weird....lame..... out of character. Especially if I came back and took another because the first one was too blurry! LOL!

Ask if you can take a picture of him and other people together. Or him and you and others. That makes it less suspicious.

People at the dojo took a lot of pictures while we were testing, maybe see if anyone else has a good picture of him from a while back.
