I just passed my rank test this morning, and am now a 7th Kyu in Shotokan.

Congratulations vertigo!

My grades:

Shodan in Karate.

5th Kyu in Aikido.

Red sash, 2nd level, in Wing Chun.

White sash in Tai Chi.

Honorary red belt in ITF TKD.

I've also trained but not graded in Kobudo (I'm about brown or black level).

Possibly due to start training in Iaido too.

This past Thursday after 5 and a half months of training, I passed my first belt test and received my Yellow Belt. I train in a Tsuruoka Style Dojo. It's been excellent!!!

Mine is my favorite shade of purple :)

Sanchin Ryu starts with white, then orange, green, and then purple. That's the last colored belt before third degree brown. As much as I will love becoming a brown belt when the time is right,I will miss my beautiful purple belt.It is a fun and fascinating level to be at.I especially love helping out in our juniors classes.

The more I think I know, the more I find I have to learn.
