krzychicano Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Yea but it is heading for disaster. New soap opera. I just seen a reality show for the next ultimate fighter. HOw lame can you get. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
1kickKO Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Actually Ive been watching "Ultimate Fighter"...it's a pretty good show.
krzychicano Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 its all drama. Just another step into becoming the next soap opera. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
1kickKO Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Nonetheless..fun to watch..it's cool seeing people beat each other to a bloody pulp.
krzychicano Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 I will give you that. Sucks when your on the receiving end though. Atleast that is what they tell me. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
krzychicano Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Yes it would be a sad day indeed. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
Davison Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Sevenstar, I understand saftey just fine. As far as entering a mma event, I don't have anything to prove to anybody.I fight for self defense purposes only, for the safety of myself, for others in need of help and for my country. You say "trust me,size matters", Have ever fought in the UFC or other like events? As far as the "Ironheart" event and asking to fight in two weight classes above my own, I don't think that would work considering I'm weighing in just under 300 lbs.I personally could care less if I had to fight someone bigger than me,It wouldn"t be the first time and certainly won't be the last time either. As far the pride event goes, thats fine but i'm not talking about the pride,i'm talking about the UFC.The bottom line is there will never be a true "ULTIMATE FIGHTER" as long as there is rules and regulations,...thats probably why they call it a sport. Why punch someone when their on the ground when you can just kick them
SevenStar Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Yea but it is heading for disaster. New soap opera. I just seen a reality show for the next ultimate fighter. HOw lame can you get. I've actually never watched that series. It can be a good thing though. It's hard trying to get a break into pro mma. This is giving several guys the opportunity to do so. Lame or not, it's helping those guys and the scene as a whole.
SevenStar Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Hopefully that'll never happen. If you compete, it'll happen. everyone has their day...
