Assassin_with_sais Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Which do you think is better when it comes to weapons and why? I think that an inexperienced person is more dangerous with a weapon because they can improvise and surprise experienced people to catch them off guard. An experienced person however is predictable in their moves and you know what to expect.
Kaminari Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 Not necessarily. An expert still has the ability to improvise, etc., to a greater degree than the inexperienced fighter. Plus, the inexperienced one wil more likely end up hurting themselves because they haven't been trained to handle the weapon.
Assassin_with_sais Posted February 5, 2005 Author Posted February 5, 2005 Well, that's another thing. An inexperienced person will use moves that they don't realize how dangerous they are to themselves and people around them and probaly don't care.
Shorinryu Sensei Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 An inexperienced person doesn't have the technique to do effective attacks or more importantly, defenses. They will be awkward, have more openings, less power, slower, etc. An experienced, trained individual will exploit any weakness's you might have in your defense, be a good counter fighter and knowwhen to attack, and when to defend. My nightly prayer..."Please, just let me win that PowerBall Jackpot just once. I'll prove to you that it won't change me!"
SaiFightsMS Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 An inexperienced person is a danger to themselves.
krzychicano Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 An inexperienced fighter may be able to take you out but the difference is that it will be luck and not skill. You have the same amount of chances of getting beat by an inexperienced person than an experienced person. It matters the persons determination. What the superior man seeks is in himself; what the small man seeks is in others. - Confucius
striking_cobra Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 good questions, i would much rather defend myself against an inexperienced person rather than an experienced one.
