I've been taking Akido since August. I took and passed my 7th kyu test in November, and Thursday I had my first Bokken class.

I really like it, and I would like to pratice the bacis moves at home, but my sensei isn't real big on handouts.

Can someone tell me where I can find a short discription (with pictures) of the techniques?

Yea you don't want to over do it. You lose alot of valuable information if you try to move to fast. Just remember it's not a race. In some arts you can go your whole life and never master everything. So don't rush it.
