Of course! Wrestling is more brute strength when trying to take your opponent down, and BJJ is more on the technical side with armbars, chokes, locks, and throws....much moreso than wrestling. Actually any jujitsu system is good, and both will help you for each other. The only thing is, when you do jujitsu and wrestling, after doing jujitsu for a while, you find htat sometimes being on your back is a good position, and in wrestling if you're on your back you're screwed..haha so many differences, but they will definitely help with each other.

I would say you could use more wrestling in BJJ then the other way around...not many BJJ moves transfer over to wrestling except a few of the basic takedowns.

yeah, agreed with tjs - bjj won't help your ground game much in wrestling, as bjj is very strong working from their back, which is a no no for a wrestler. the submissions they use are a no no as well.

Wrestling is an excellent base for anyone going into BJJ! if you can control people on the ground it will make your BJJ that much more effective.

Peace and may God be with you...

They work well in teaching things such as feeling your opponent, weight shifting, etc. Moves don't really transfer well back and forth, though, with the possible exception of some hip throws.

I'd just like to say that wrestling is not mostly brute strength. Though strength is very nessicary, during high school I beat many wrestlers who were much stronger than I was. A much smarter wrestler will beat a much stronger wrestler almost every time.
