I remember hearing softly hitting your shins with a hammer for a couple of weeks strengthens the bones.

 

Pro-Powerful kicks and less pain

 

Cons-Messed up bones,lose feeling in your legs.

 

I suggest you dont do this...this is like for...insane muay thai fighters in thailand..

By hitting your shins it breaks and grinds down your bones and when they rebuild they rebuild even stronger so when you do it have lots of milk or anything else with alot of calcium

all of that mess is unnecessary. kick the bag, block kicks, take kicks, etc. Normal training will toughen your shins. trying to speed it up via other means isn't really helping anything.

i agree with sevenstar normal training will help your legs but there is no harm in useing the bamboo method it worked for me.

ive bn told by one of the phuket thai boxing trainers not to hit your self as hard as you can but just until your leg goes red and not to break the skin he said 20 mins a day with a few bambo sticks tied together should do the trick for the shins.not to hit yourself

of course time, but what kinda supplemental training (do u think) will give u an edge

Hmm...I don't know much about supplements..I do drink though a power shake and it does contain extremely good stuff in it, 1 glass of it will replace a daily multivitamin...and full of energy. It works..it's called "powershake"..maybe check on that? As for the supplements, you could just google that...;)
