Andrew_Patton Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://nunchaku.tv try here, not sure if there's much of the videos or anything left there, try a page around half way through 2003. Should help some, but to really get a feel for a weapon you're going to need to get some hands on time.
tommarker Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 practice figure 8s. fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals. If you can do forward and reverse figure eights competently, you'll be able to figure out the flow to most handoffs and other tricks. I practiced figure eights and over the shoulder handoffs for like 3 years before learning anything else. I'm not saying you NEED to take that extreme route, but... it is much easier to learn when you are comfortable with ther weapon. Thousands of reps build comfort, not cool videos. I'm no longer posting here. Adios.
