I have carried a pocket knife since I was 14 but its not for self defense. When I was in Indiana I had a personal protection carry conceal permit and I carried a small .22cal pistol with me. I don't do that in Ohio because the carry conceal law here is really weird. So I rely on my hands and feet and whatever I am carrying.

My car... Why get out and go toe to toe when you can just run over his toes? Seriously though, I'm not allowed to have weapons at work, permit or no, so I guess it's just myself and my wits.

I carry a chain, (I can do Nunchaku skill with it, plus The Chain isnt Illegal, the 2 sticks AND the chain is illegal to use as a weapon.

A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.

A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it.

When I've done bit more training, I'll carry a knife. I work at a restraunt that serves alchohol, and some of those customers get really drunk. If I have to go outside for any reason while these drunken men are around, I want a knife. There have been guys who try to flirt with me, and until I know they're long gone, I refuse to leave the inside of the restraunt. It's not always going to be an option to stay inside, though, and I'd rather feel safe.

I'm perfectly confident in my MA abilities. However, I don't want to try fighting a drunken man with a knife while I'm unarmed.

Better safe than sorry.

Depends on where I am going. I sometimes carry a small knife that has a four inch blade or a retractable baton. I prefer pepper spray to disorient--it's less messy legally.

My mind, and my hands/feet.

If it were more necessary and more legal it would be nice to have a pair of nunchuku in a sticky situation. But pretty much anything can turn into a bo staff.
