And then it depends on what you are looking for and why? Like what you hope to get out of it?

 

It is possible to get written directions for all 26 kata of the shotokan canon. As well as video clips on the net.

 

One word though too much information at one time does result in overload. And to really make use of most of this information you need a basis built first of the type generally only offered by formal instruction.

Great link. I've used their site for almost 2 years. The katas are great. They are performed by those from JKA. One thought though ... the katas are performed slowly so we may learn better. Don't expect your performance to look this way :D

 

You'll have to work with your sensei in order to perform katas with rhytm.

 

For start the katas are OK. And as another member said, you can burn a CD with them and so you'll have a quality one :D
