SOrry Jamie, can't help you there.

However, I will search just like SaiFightsMS, and if we find anything we'll tell you.

And just for my nosey-ness, what type of weapon art do you practice, or are you just interested in kama anyway?

C ya

Well I went searching and found some traditionally made kama. Made to be right and left handed, they even had wooden covers for the blades. Really cool and really expensive.

Then I wandered into a site talking about whips and got very distracted. Spent a long time there reading.

So no folding kama yet but I am having a good time.

Thanks folks for trying to help, just for your info i found a place in usa selling them in an old 1980s kung fu mag, still trying to find if they still trade.

At the moment i am a student of kobudo and japanese/asian jujitsu(no need for a history argument here)and karate

History arguement :argue:? Did I miss something? :???:

Does not matter to me the why or how of what type of kobudo someone studies. Or the reason. Just as long as they enjoy it. And maybe are willing to talk about it. I really enjoy comparing things. Now remember I said comparing not arguing.
