ninelivesarentenough Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 does anyone know or have a website to somewhere i could learn a fan kata. i don't mean a slow tai chi form, i mean an actually kata. i've seen one once before and i asked the girl where she learned it and she said on a video so i'm thinking someone here is bound to know what i'm talking about. it was kind of fast and there were a lot of rapid stance shifting. anything you think i'd be interested in would be great.
KUNTA KINTE Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 it would be hard to learn a fan form from a Kata. but for a web site https://www.google.com The right to keep and bear Arms.
ninelivesarentenough Posted January 23, 2005 Author Posted January 23, 2005 don't worry i've thoroughly exhausted google on the subject.
1kickKO Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 If you can't find it on google, is there anybody at your dojo that might know any fan katas? Or is that in your syllabus? What style do you study? A good way to learn it is go to plenty of tournaments, watch anybody for a fan, watch their kata..if you like it, ask them to teach it to you. By the way, I notice you live in Ohio, whereso? I also live in Ohio.
