KUNTA KINTE Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I have a speed bag in my garage and i am thinking of moving it in to my room the only problem is it is load. Is there any way to silence it a little? The right to keep and bear Arms.
ShotokanKid Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Not really. Are you talking about the noise from the banging or the squeaking? My speedbag squeaks but I just need to lubricate it. You might want to try a light foam pad but that'll atke away from the bounce. "What we do in life, echoes in eternity.""We must all fear evil men. CQC Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Not much you can do about the banging I don't think. Unless you modify the bag so it doesn't hit the top board (or whatever it's attached to). It'll just take a little longer to come back to you. You could get 2 metal rods running them from the wall with a board (or whatever) at the end of them, screwing the board so that there's a space between the board and the wall. You can then attach the bag to the end of the board, and it will then hit the "space", thus making no noise, as opposed to the top board. If that makes sense..haha. Hope it helps a bit.
